Formation of Tornadoes
A tornado is a violent storm with very strong winds usually move in a circle. The creation of a tornado happens when three elements are met: the rising warm and moist air from the ground, a mass of colder air of a thundercloud, and the rotation of earth.
A tornado is formed when warm and wet air goes up from the ground and comes into contact with a mass of colder air at the bottom of a thundercloud. The rising air pushes against the colder air, and the rotation of earth causes the air to spin. This process is pretty much like the water in a sink spins as it goes down a drain.
Because the pressure at the center of a tornado is much lower than that in the air surrounding the tornado, it creates a funnel in the middle of the tornado, which causes destruction by acting much like a vacuum cleaner and sucking up whatever is in the path. -
Estuaries
Fresh water from land enters the ocean through rivers, streams, and groundwater flowing through valleys. These valleys that channel fresh water from land to the salty ocean, which range from extremely narrow stream-cut channels to remarkably broad lagoons behind long barrier islands, are called estuaries.
-Lagoon is a lake of salt water that is separated from the sea by sand or rock. -
How Books Are Made?
The printing company starts by printing a big sheets of paper that contains the text of a number of pages. Next, the sheets are folded and cut to produce sections of the book. These sections are called signatures. After that, all the signatures are put together in the correct order, and then, they are bound together and their edges are trimmed. Finally the cover, which has been printed separately, is attached. Now the book can be published.
